TrendSpider offers the traders to set up two types of alerts for receiving notifications i.e. Dynamic Alerts and Multi-Factor Alerts. In this documentation, we will understand these two alerts and how they work.

Dynamic Price Alerts
A dynamic alert is created on the trend lines or indicators and notifies you whenever the price breaks through, touches, or bounces off of a trend line or indicator. For more information on setting up Dynamic Price Alerts, please refer to the documentation on- Create a Dynamic Price Alert
There are three different alert trigger conditions you can set while creating the dynamic price alerts:
- Break Through Alert
- Touch Alert
- Bounce Alert

Multi-Factor Alerts
A multi-factor alert allows you to create different conditions at which a price or candlestick patterns or indicators cross. You can create such conditions using an intuitive visual editor and get notified whenever the defined conditions are triggered.

Multi-Factor Alerts support Multiple Timeframes and Multiple Data Types allowing you to combine entities (indicators or candles) across different time frames and have more than a single condition in the alert.
Moreover, the Script Manager makes it easy to organize all of your templates for Multi-Factor Alerts and Backtesting in a single place. With the help of Script Manager, you can create, edit and delete templates. For more information, please refer to the documentation on: Manage Alert and Backtest Templates with Script Manager.
You can also clone any multi-factor alert from the Alerts widget. When an existing Multi-Factor Alert is cloned, a complete copy of all the configurations, conditions, and actions defined within it is done which you can use as a base for creating a new Multi-Factor Alert.
